What do you all know about the new salomon lineup im super happy wit my 1080's but they are falling apart.

gun / thruster are the same as (are identical except for graphics) to the P Rocket and 1080. The FOIL is a new ski with a different shape and a bit wider than the thruster. It is still spaceframe tech for all those who are wondering.

 
I heard the foil was a wood core surounded by foam i could def be wrong on this one though!! I dont even remember where i heard that most likely here!

the foils have a 85mm waist, by no means a fat powder ski, by today's standards

use the search tool, there's tons of threads and pics.

^ the foils are spaceframe style construction still. And by 'spaceframe' u must mean the 1080, they yes they are 'beefed' up dimension wise compared to the 1080. This new spaceframe in the foils it seems like no one has a straight awnser on what it really is, i guess we will have to wait for the official release.

Any new news on the 1080 Lab -- the new big mountain twin? I can't believe that in the SIA photos they are not really seen, nor are they in any of the product videos on Biglines.com. It's almost like they are not proud of introducing this ski.

Anyways.

 
im not saying you didn;t ride them im saying the foils are made with spaceframe construction as are the 1080's now know as (thrusters).

three of my friends are rideing for soloman and they sear by it as i do the foils are one of the best skis out there i would them if head wasnt giveing me skis
