New salomon thrusters...? any info

i saw a pic of salomon thrusters...they look pretty sweet and like a lower level than the foil any info

i really do not undertsand what the difference is between the thrusters and the foils. i was about to start a thread asking about it, but i figured i'd just do it here

i think i found out that the thrusters are like the old 720 but they look sweeter than the foils and probably cheaper

no i'm pretty sure the thruster is basically the 1080. The foil is wider and more of an all mountain ski.

Its only for decoration thats it and thats all

What goes on in the gondala stays in the gondala
 
^basically what he said. the thrusters are pretty much the 1080s and the foils are gonna be the do it all skis

the thruster is a new redesighned 1080. its basically same demensions, but different spaceframe and different features really nice skis....

 
Here's the scoop,

Baby blue - 1080 lab Gun - it's a new gen' Pocket Rocket but with new Spaceframe and new phatter shape 100+ under foot and wood core. i'ts all steeeeeze - same graphic as salomon's s-core surfboard.

Blue/orange - 1080 Gun - named after North Shore shapped surf board. The ex pocket rocket is now with stiffer tail to get more pop off of wind lips, nice... Blackcomb july...

Camo - Lab CR - now avail in 166 !!! and of course esti the 88.

Black/White - 1080 Foil - "best ski next year" and xgold winner. It's an all condition bad ass that kills it in Jay as well as in on hard snow @ MSS.

White/Black - 1080 Thruster - the orriginal with new spaceframe and popier tale. Sick thing is the price what a S810 set up would have been 849Can$ will next year be 549$can - beat that!

Thruster is also a nickname for a shorte board.

White/Green - 1080 Flyer - what was the 720 but same improvements in price...

White/Orange - 1080 Fish - was 1080grom and is now this super cool little tweak for the little dudes.

For the surfers, the fish board is the one you learn on when you were a little kid...

Sorry for writing so much, i've done some research...

 
alos i heard from my friend who works at a shop the foil is like the Scratch FS how it has wood and foam for the core

^yikes id say you brought back an old thread. anyway the thrusters look sick and im guessing they come in the same sizes as the 1080's did last year
