New salomon boots

well, first

its not how the boot fits, its how it performs

2:you wont see the boot cause tour pants will be over it(i hope)

3: its probly one of the best freestyle boots out right now

4:you shouldnt judge boots on how they look

5: that booster strap will probly save you shin bang

ya, you cant say anyhting bad about the spk;s untill u try them, i have hoard about alot of the cool stuff like double padded shins, super cushy foot beds than u can knucle and fell fine and alot of other really good stuff

I think you mean its not how it looks... its how it performs... performance and fit are related and the 2 most important aspects to proper boot for each person

It sort of feels like slipper on your foot, until you get into hard terrain, then they're shaky as all hell.

So yeah, if you only ski park all the time. More power to you, but I hated em.

^so, how does a vento fit you well, but the salomon feels sloppy? the vento is a gargoyle of a boot, tons of room inside those things.

It's not the sloppyness. The Insoles were fine, It was the shell that was weird.

Truthfully, I'm sure that they could have been carved out to fit better. But my Vientos didn't. Problem solved. Vientos(in my opinion) are better. The SPK was uncomfortable and I didn't like it.

But I've never really liked any Salomon boots, so there's really no change. Could even be a bias.

To anwser the original question, I think they're keeping the 1080 foil and adding the spk. And if not, the xwave series is the same fit as the 1080 foil was.

Harvey had them back at X games and he said they're the most comfortable and well performing boot he's ever worn.

im sure it could hold its ground...most people are getting it as their boot for the year...im sure salomon wouldnt make a boot that you could only use for park and nothing else

they have the spk the foil then gun pro and they are introducing a new world cup race boot.. the falcon
