Yo!

I've been working nonstop since the end of January on a new RR site. I think it turned out extremely well and I'm finally ready to release it to you all.

I'd really like to here your feedback, so please post your thoughts!

Also, to make the launch a little more exciting, I've added:

3 New Photo Galleries

2 New Promo Vids

1 New Article

Thanks guys! I know there is a lot of Snowboarding content up there now... and I figure its better than nothing, but we'll have a lot more skiing stuff next season. For sure!
 
Only suggestion I have is the hover overs, make them line up so they overlap and arn't next to eachother. Other than that, very nice.

nice site though.

you have to wait for the pages to fully load before you can click on a pic, thats kind of annoying. otherwise it opens up in a new page rather than on that same one.
 
Yeah, this is a limitation of "lightbox" the thing that is displaying the pictures. I'll look into it! Thanks
 
it came out awesome dude! you can tell you spent alot of time on it. i like the pics on the riders pages. very nice!!!
 
looks sick and seems to work really well, basically the only things i can see not working perfect are to do with the photo display app.

the grey background that drops down doesn't drop all the way down for me, just like 2/3rds, also the next and back buttons don't appear until i've moved my cursor off and back on a couple of times. both of them are no big deal and are probably to do with my browser as much as anything.

sick site, only gonna get better with content!

Thanks a lot for the feedback!! I've noticed the same things too. I def need too spend some time looking into the lightbox script to find out why it's not functioning like it should. There are obviously some glitches in that. Appreciate you letting me know! :)
 
is it just me or do none of the .mp4 vids work for anyone? like it just comes up with script? It's probably just my quicktime or summit
 
are you on a mac?

Mac users often have to option-click in order to download the files to their computer. Occasionally there is a .txt extension onto the file that you will have to delete. For some reason there are weird glitches on mac. I will try to fix this for future video edits. Sorry for the inconvenience.

if you are on windows, it's probably just that you have an outdated QUICKtime.
 
the galleries are dope along with the rest of the site... everything , all the minor detail changes are siiick, such a nice job yet again on your part jas...... THANKS!
 
I like how when you click on a pic it just comse up over it that way you can still see teh site not a whole new page
 
Nice work Jason! I put the A jibbers wallpaper up on my grandma's computer. I bet it will take her a week to figure out whats going on.

So i did a google for "freeskiers" and RR comes up 5th?!?!?

Is this the same for you guys too? Maybe google is getting smarter and remembering our interests or something. I dunno why RR is higher than ScottUSA... err
 
What do you mean? You mean like a desktop background download.. for your computer? Or do you mean like the "NS" that appears on NS?
 
Dang jason, nice site. i do have one problem though, What happened to that little girl that was holding the balloons, she was a fox!!!! hahahaa i dont have any real suggestions.
 
yea like the "NS" kinda theme, maybe have that dark brown as the full backround of the site, with "RR". some desktops would be dope to. just in my opinion. site looks real good eathir way man.
 
LOL. I was a little sad to see the little girl go.. not going to lie. But, she really didn't have anything to do with skiing so when you saw the site you'd have no idea what it was about. Hopefully the new site makes it that much easier to see what it's about.

BTW, I fixed the 2 new promo videos. There was a glitch in them that crashed the browser when you clicked them. All fixed now, sorry bout that.
