It look like having the top buckle up that high and slightly to the back of the boot might provide enough support without a booster strap... I wouldn't want to buy them without trying them first though

I remember seeing pics a while back of a white prototype Rossi boot that was similar but more finished. Searchbar that shit.

Lange did something similar a few years back (which makes sense since Quiksilver owns them all.) The only difference was that instead of a cable on the bottom buckle it was two big rubber straps.

here in germany you're already able to buy them. they are way cheaper than spks i think and they are available in a lot more sizes. you can compare them to spks, soft flex and almost no weight. really like these boots. had the ability to test them for a week but do not own them =(
