New Rode Video Mic

Did anyone else see the new Rode Video Mic?

Kind of pissed that I bought a regular videomic pro now.....

The price could be fairly high though. Based on the NTG-3 and it is an external recorder.

I remember reading about this a while back on philip blooms website, i think it was around 400, but this was around christmas so I could be quite off.

i remember a while ago he really hyped up the videomic pro, and he couldn't announce what it was until the official release, but the vmp is cheaper. I think it will be aimed mostly at the dslr crowd, possibly trying to "dethrone" the zoom h4n for people who want a more compact setup.
