New Robin Hood Movie:

Well... its from the director of Gladiator, and Russell Crowe is the main character, so it may seem that way, but I'm still stoked for the movie, I love all Robin Hood movies...

Here is my take on what SHOULD happen here and I will be greatly disappointed if it doesn't. Ridley Scott + Russell Crowe x legendary medieval story = EPIC WIN!!!!!

this is a repost....

Born in New Zealand in 64, a hot headed actor name Russell Crowe,

He

loves to act but he loves one thing more, Fightning around the World!

He

fights his directors and he fights his fans, it's a problem no one

understands.

If theres two things he loves it's fighting and,

Fighting around the World!

Makin' movies, makin' music, and Fightin'

Round the World!

I hope he does that thing where he enters a bow and arrow contest and then when he shoots his arrow at the target his bow gets bumped and his arrow shoots into the air, and then he hurries and shoots another arrow at his arrow which causes his first arrow to point back down and hit the target.

quality post, i'm ok with it, but it doesn't change the fact that this movie can't be half as good as the fox robin hood. even ignoring that, i think this movie looks dumb

I'm 18 years of age, and god knows what my favourite movie is. I like this style of movie for sure, but i hate russell crow and i think that there are a million better stories that they could have given a gritty reboot to. Robin Hood was a fun guy, ready with wise-cracks and a smile while he shot someone with a bow and arrow. Russell Crowe looks about as fun as a double homicide.

Russell Crowe is a great actor. I think he'll be able to pull off a supremely badass Robin Hood of the likes we've never seen. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited for this movie. I dig medieval shit.

BUMP

Just saw the movie and it was pretty damn good. Not really gonna go into details I just thought it was good.

saw it last night. way better than i expected. Was it like Oscar worthy? prolly not, but still a good flick, lots of good old fashion medieval ass kicking. word of advice, stay for the credits.

Russell Crowe is a little bitch. Some guys were interviewing him on BBC 4 for this movie, and they told him he sounded Irish in the film. Like the bitch he is, Crowe flipped out, as usual.

I came very close to seeing it last night. Went for Elm St. instead. I feel as though I made the right choice. I wasn't to worried about the $5 as much as the 2 hours of my life.

do not spend money. i went to see it, stoked as shit to see an action packed movie. first like 10 minutes were cool, castle seige, but the rest sucked. confusing story line, no action. we left an hour early.

i admit it wasnt great but i think leaving half way through the movie didnt help your chances at seeing a lot of the fights and action. It probably didnt help your understanding of the plot either.

I fell asleep during Master and Commander. I didn't really like him much, but American Gangster changed that. When I saw the trailer for Hood It seemed like a hastely thrown together movie with 80s cop movie one-liners thrown in. Maybe when I'm bored I'll download it or something.
