he clearly stated that he was going with a different direction with the first TEASER. not the movie. the second teaser was a clear remix of the first crazy/unique teaser.

i think you can trust berman based on his past work nto to put in reatarded timelapses.

what was the last mov to rely somewhat heavily on timelapses?...tbc...

im sayin that timelapses are fucking woooord for a trailer but only for intros and credits and a shot or two in the parts.

is the movie gonna be in segments of like months or rider segments?
 
That was a huge stepup from past level one teasers, really dope. Companies are stepping it way up this year, props. I've been kind of bored with Level one lately, but this looks interesting
 
Wasn't as AMAZING!?!?!?!! as Level 1 hypes there shit to be... I thought numerous teasers this year were better than that...
 
That is only 6 seconds shorter than the whole Rage trailer, and longer than the Idea trailer. Plus, if you like Planet Earth, you know that timelapses + HD = awesome.
 
i thought that was dope as hell, much better editing in the trailer than pbp and msp IMO. and i think three things,amongst others, are going to make this movie better than lss...rainville, tom, and more vanular.
 
I'm not jumping the gun at all... the trailer isn't going to get any better. I never said the movie was going to suck. I'm sure it will be great. But usually the point of a trailer is to make people want to buy your movie. I'm just saying that if it weren't for my built-up faith in Berman from previous movies, I would not be buying this movie based on the trailer.

I think it's fine he went in a different direction with the first teaser, but I was expecting something much better when the second teaser was released. I just don't think he should toy with us and build up this much suspense (a fake story and unwatchable trailer) if he's not going to put out something that will absolutely blow our minds afterwards. Someone else in this thread said it best: the first trailer took the wind out of the second, it felt like the same thing, which is a disappointment.

Also... Rage could have easily put in two extra minutes of timelapses to make their teaser four minutes long... but they didn't.
 
The first time i whached it i was a little skeptical cuz it was like the old one, then i whached it again and realized every songle trick was sooooooooo amazing al the differnt tweaks and stefans cab 5 off the clif with his signature style was just-im spechless...

i knew pre ordering would be an awesome idea
 
You're saying you'd like a ski movie with a seizure inducing timelapse in between each ski action shot, lasting just as long?
 
you do realize a movie is longer, and will not have to try to cram footage into a 4 min timeslot, hence there will be no need for seizures right?
 
He really didn't cram any footage in there, and what's the point of putting footage in a trailer if you can't see what's happening?
 
You're deluding yourself if you think that. If anyone on this site had never heard of Level 1, and just saw that trailer, they'd be all over that movie. I don't get how you can find anything to criticize with it.

Too many timelapses? Go watch MSlowmoP. I could watch the realtime trailer 50 times and be pumped to go skiing, or watch the full movie.
 
And, I just don't think seizure inducing time lapses before every single fucking shot in the trailer is impressive. I love it how opinions aren't allowed on NS these days. You either conform to everyone else's manner of thought or people attempt to rip you to shreds.
