maybe i just dont know this band that well, but I thought they were supposed to be the hardest band on Fat, and this cd is really popy. i mean like mtv popy. I thought this band was supposed to be real. I thought they were in the anarcho-punk genere! fucking eh
 
fair enough, but I thought they were supposidly the best band on it, or whatnot from people who's musical taste I trust..
 
its been 4 years since they put an album out so maybe they have changed.

I like there old stuff
 
does anyone ahve the new cd yet ... i been wating to herar how it sounds for so long...hopefully itsd not lame
 
It has been 4 years, and things have changed. Chris, the original founder of Propagandhi left the band in 2003, So they had to get a new singer/guitarist, Glen, thats why it sounds different, its got real different lyrics too. I listened to it for the first time last night, i like it, but no where near as good as todays empires tommorows ashes.

The new album is the furthest thing from pop that Propagandhi has put out.

It's heavy. I'd almost go as far as to class it as a metal album. Buy the album, read the lyrics...

These guys know their shit. This is a step up from Today's Empires...
 
Man, how to clean everything was my favorite album from them for so lomg. I can't wait to hear this new album

metal is pop to me. atleast metal in that style. now a band like Zeke (if you classify them as metal) that isnt pop, but they are totally different.

but I could be totally wrong. Perhaps he didn't mean poppy and he really did mean popy, whatever that means.

And Lagwagon, I've been reading your posts for a few years now and you calling me a "faggotfuck", (clever) sort of rolls off my back. I take it with a grain of salt. I can't really say that I hold your statements in the highest regard.
 
I know agree with lanemeyers in saying that this album is the furtherest from pop they have put out! Its sooo fucken sick, they have no where near sold out, to be honest the album is probably emphasising how they hate sell outs and the whole scene. i suck at explaining shit but yeah, like lanemeyers says read the lyrics, if you can't hear them.
