Pretty retarded ski. I have the Big Stix 106's and I really wouldn't want to go any wider than that. 3 feet of pow will feel like a groomer. I like having a wide ski to go fast in pow, but that is just rediculous. You'll never feel like the snow is deep.

wow, this is kinda obvious. wider ski = more flotation. more flotation = better.

i'm an east coaster too, but you can get a feel for this when there's a foot of fresh on the hill. fatter skis won't punch through as much and hit the ice, like your normal carving ski.
