New Profiles out in Beta

Thanks. I got a "channel" title, but can't figure how to add to it. Maybe one can not add their published videos to a "channel"? (note my previous post above) I selected from my media and tried to drag and drop, but no go. Trivial. Maybe that's for another thread or it's info I just can't find. I thought it might be like a YT Playlist thing. No worries. Maybe next season I can do a "channel" for my Real Lap series.

Appreciate the reply. It's all good. Or will be in time.

Like I said, we are developing a new video section, so those features will not work until we release the new update, which will be soon.
 
Don't know if this has been brought up, but when I click on another member's profile, I can only see four videos total. There is no option to view a member's entire archive of videos

yeah Sam nailed it. Sorry, the update is a bit behind schedule right now but its coming together nicely. Really trying to figure out a much better way to display videos for you guys.

Do it like youtube does with a top rated section but also a section with all of their videos
 
Idea to make regionals not die: An opt in option to be able to select your region/regions and be updated when people post in that forum

I know better things are coming but the videos really need sorted out. It's been almost two months since we could scroll through someone's videos or even find a particular edit if you didn't know the exact name.

(what I really mean is my friends and I are trying to watch our old edits but can't remember all of them)
 
Not really stoked on this new layout for the profiles. Don't know why there isn't an option to view all videos, while under the "video" tab on any blue name. It's pretty stupid that you can only view all videos on orange namer's. Fix this shit so I can watch homies videos, and my own for that matter.

Off line for a few days was NS.. I thought this issue would have been fixed. They have assured us it will be. Waiting am I. Until then, I'll need to share from my YT instead of NS.

We were not offline for updates, we experienced a very significant ddos and it took us all weekend and today to get the site back to operation. Video updates are coming soon

I don't want to sound bitchy because I know you guys are working super hard on everything and I might be the only one who feels this way:

Everything feels dumbed down. This seems like a growing trend. Desktop sites everywhere are being dumbed down to become more mobile friendly.

and it's pissing me off.

Yeah its a really hard part of the modern website. Mass amounts of user attention have gone out the window, and over half of the audience is now viewing mobile only. So you need to simplify for this - and attending to mobile platforms doubles the work you used to have to do to maintain something. Start thinking about apps and you're adding a full other 100% workload of maintenance per platform you support.

So partly you have to "dumb it down" (Read: Simplify) due to device access and partly you have to do it because you can't maintain such a complicated site with the resources you have.

What up with user video library? Still waiting. It's a real pain to find a users videos as we can only see 4 latest and 4 top rated. The top rated are not really top rated when you account for views and scores either.

I have been told here it is coming, but it's been a long time now.

Sure if I go to "My Media" I can eventually find one of my many uploads so I can share the NS link to the video, but when it comes to another users video, it's a real drag. It's not like we can remember every video title we ever watched and want to see again or share.

Bottom line is when can we expect to be able to see the entire list of a users videos?

I miss the line that showed "last login date." Was looking at a couple old friends/ members today and wondering if they are still around on the site. Very very small note but thought I'd add in my thought :)
 
No but really, last login and name change history is a must, post count as well.

and you cant touch peoples karma on their profile? you can only rate them in the forums correct?
