except the cover is taken on a terrible day on box, not a rail, that thousands of people slide all year. graphically its cool, but the skiing is anything but impressive.

i ahte it when mags use stupid shit for cover shots....freeze never did that, but last year freeskier put a shot from the X Games on the cover... liek who hasnt seen that? if you read that mag you have definatley seen the x games, tis jsut not new, not cover worthy...and that s box was up all year and every single kid who went to PC hit it im sure

Freeskier ran that stupid little rail with snow put all over the steps=bs. Powder runs a stupid box=bs. The just don't get it. Too bad. And that Powder shot isn't that artsy, its just a grey day. The way the box is laid out is cool, but that is it.

 
who the fuck cares if it is an easy box? it is by far the dopest cover i have ever seen on a ski mag. the composition of the box emulating a ski line on a big mountain face, and the way the white just blends into the background. i think it is an incredible photograph. powder has come a long way. little kids will never get the artistic side of this sport.

i guarantee that shot would catch your attention more than cr's right3. yayaya, cr's 3 is way more tech and shit, but as far as a stand out cover shot...no comparison.

why do all the ski mags this year suck so far? there just isn't any good material inside and the profiles are on skiers that aren't that interesting of people.

 
it doesnt really matter how hard the trick is. freeze had that awesome picture of crichton on the wallride, but lots of people you and i have never heard of have done that wallride.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

ya its a cool cover for sure...but i like cover with stuff in the backcountry that no one has seen before...it still cool tho

 
anyone stop to think for a second about the effect it would have on a normal person who hit that box... they might look at it and go, cool, I hit that box too! Maybe if someone was there with a camera and the artistic ability it could have been me on the cover.

I miss my monthly dosage of Sage from Powdermag. This month's issue of "Sagemagazine" was truly a letdown for myself.

i ahve a question why is it that in canada, kelowna british columbia that is, that we never get the mags fast? i JUST got the powder with sage on the cover, and the first freeskier hasnt even gotten into stores yet!
