new Poles

watevz dude just get some random cheap aluminum ones... cheapest possible. dont get graphite or any of that shit kuz if they break they break and its over, aluminum u bend back. fuck poles they dont make much difference what kind they are just get proper size and spend what u feel appropriate.

word. haha i got my poles from my fucking Disiplinary Principle at school. he found them in our front lawn at school and i saw him walking with them and i was like woah can i have those and he was like ''yah come back in a week and if nobody has claimed them they're yours.' so i went back a week later and had myself a nice pair of swix poles.

 
if you want some good poles, get the smith z-bend compittion, or any of the goode poles

These things haven't bent on me yet and I've tried to purposely bend them but to no avail. And they've got carbide tips that've worked awesome on this season's west coast ice.

I got them for $85cdn. they're a good investment, should last many seasons.

 
anything made with carbon. They'll bend further than the breaking point of any aluminum pole, plus they bend back to straight. Or just 'borrow' rental poles from some tourist if you don't have any cash.

 
I buy the cheapest alu pole availiable. Carbon/graphite breaks just as easily as alu if you land on it, and those are a lot more expensive to replace. Otherwise, if you're intent on getting a better pole, Leki would be my brand of choice by far.

buy either the camos Scott or the Kerma that the nationale bumps team use..they are not available in north america, but you'd be able to find em either used, or in japan for 175 us..

WORD, i like the Scott Dispatch. Got them for christmas and they still havent broken yet, they look pretty cool. But if you break your poles all the time, get cheapos.

 
I got leki before I broke the fuckin system I like it but I always broke it...

I think I'll go for scott but I'll see I need them fast I have to get them for saturday.

if you buy expensive carbon poles, they usually have warranty with them. at least mine did. so get the good poles and use the warranty.

i got dispatches and broke them third day usin' em called up scott, sent em the poles in a box, paid 6 bucks shipping, got a new pair 4 days later. They will bend just like any other pole, but scott is a cool company and they stand behind their product.
