New pivot toe

wait wtf? what year was this

2023. Still make them for 24 as well. But they only come with the 75 brake. So you’ll need to swap. I changed out to a 115 for my moment Meridians. This was right before I swapped them out.

Got my OG FKSs from 2006. Took them apart and replaced the springs and greased them up real good.

I have the same bindings and I would like to do the same thing to them where do you get the replacement springs? I’m also missing one of those white pieces on the toe I was thinking of replacing both cause they are def worn down

I have a whole load of Pivots so I swapped springs from some new pivots i had kicking about. You can get Gripwalk AFDs for them too. I was a bit worried some of the plastic would have some UV damage from being so old and become brittle but basically all the important components are metal. I'm sure the old springs were fine, but was mostly just a curiosity to see if anything in the binding had changed in the past 15 years

Springs are more resilient than people know. It’s not the constant being under pressure that’s an issues but the constant release and tightening on the springs which adds wear. Most bindings are not having the springs compressed and released over and over again so they should actually last a really long time. Nothing wrong with swapping out though if you have spares around.
