New PC Setups......

dang heff, mountain education or book school education! aha, im looking to visit around mid-February! Stoked to see what will be going down in the west park-wise. Haven't shredded PC since i was around 13yrs old, and around that time i didn't even ski park so it will be well appreciated.

this thread is so depressing. as i sit here in my dorm at uconn with 60 degree temps yesreday...while mount snow made snow but lost it all already...probably wont open this weekend. a month until utah! FUCK YEAH. i need to be there right meow

sooo damn fun hiked it a little at the end of the day today...my only dilemma...why are people still hiking the down bars on homerun rather than payday...shit gets annoying when you're trying to hit jumps

It says on the website the jonesys opens saturday, does anyone know if thats just the run or with features on it as well. Also, when is pick and shovel gonna be open? anyone with insight please inform us.

based on how the season has gone so far i would expect to open up with an entire park or atleast a dozen features. Park city and jeremy cooper are not fucking around this year yadameannn

doood no good man! talk about bad timing but take the month off a chill and you should be good in no time...+ vibes

Just to help with the confusion.... Our goal is to open Pick and the Pipe on Tuesday, Full park!! When we open Pick and the Pipe, We will be closing the Homerun park. As far as Jonesy's goes there will be no upper Jonsey's this year... There seems to be a major traffic issue going from upper to middle Jonsey's. I hope this helps.

Without upper jonesey's...which had the best medium size tables at park city (and lower jonesey's seems to me to be too flat for big/medium tables) will Pick N Shovel have nice medium size tables (to transition to kings crow) and will there be step up/step overs this year?

Hopefully some of the pick jumps end up more true table(ish) than last year.

basically, I just want the step over at the bottom of Jonesys somewhere this year. it was so fun.

I want 3 to 4 of those in a line in Kings. That would be heaven. But that seems like a pretty tall order, so as long as there is one of them somewhere on the mountain, I will be very happy.

Yeah stepovers are ill and all and they would be sick, but as long as pick is a solid jump line of really smooth jumps that feeel good no mattter their shape, I WILL BE STOKED. THANKS JEREMY!

kind of smallish size though, until after Burton comp. ... the stepover in Jonesy's was the best jump, and I agree that many of them should be replicated in all parks.

so with no upper jonsey's.. that means Kings will be the longest park? That kind of sucks, hitting 15-20 features in one run at jonseys was amazing (even if the set up didnt change all year). Kind of makes me sad.

I agree. I wish that instead of just removing the top half of their longest park, Park City were able to find a different run to put that park on. Not necessarily even on Bonanza (since that is such a crowded area of the mountain to begin with, which is their excuse for the removal of upper joneseys, which in fact won't help the problem because just as many people will still be funneling into middle joneseys), but what if they could find a run on Silverload or King Con (since that is easy to access from both eagle and crescent lifts) or maybe something even on Thaynes, Motherload, or McConkeys (Georgeanna), rather than just eliminate half of one of their most fun parks.

This isn't really supposed to be a rant or anything. Just find it strange that their solution to a problem won't actually help eliminate the problem. What PC has done so far this year is amazing, and I am not complaining, just trying to find solutions to future potential issues.

i'm really depressed that there will be no upper jonsey's.. by far my favorite park. so many features in one run!!! and that step up/over was the best jump i've ever hit. so fun!

well it was sick like 3 years ago when there were a lot of features in kings, and pick...so hopefully that'll happen again this year. last year they reaaaallly slacked with the amount of rails in kings.

i am also really bummed about the upper part of jonesys. last year jonesys was by far the funnest run. in one run, you could pretty much hit any kind of feature you wanted. it was awesome. and if you make the park smaller, the problem will prolly be worse for the crossing right there. there has to be a better solution to this problem.

a set-up/over is the one feature I will sorely miss. A duplicate of this style jump should be a priority when building the rest of the parks. In a perfect world I would like more of these, like one smaller than jonesys, and one bigger.

i don't see why anyone is phased, all the parks were way sicker when upper jonesey's wasn't around.

all i know is jeremy+the park crew is killing it this year so don't worry, everything will be legit i bet.

Well the snow is just what the doctor ordered!!! Although it did slow us down a bit on the pipe and pic... It is starting to look very promising for a wednesday ribbon cutting... Enjoy!!!
