when i went on saturday i saw the spot where they put there park and it seemed bigger

ha maybe we had something to do about it but i don't think so. the ski patrol there are the most uptight any where. one time we tried to ad a bit of a lip to a natural step down and the patrol tottaly shut down the entire operation and they were big dicks. I think they always want to compare to louise and do whatever louise does they gotta meet those standards and since louise jacked up their park sunshine will try it too...but the ski patrol there doesn't seem like the sick park building crew so i don't know, i hope you're right!.. but i don't know.

thats not true at all...the lakes park compared pretty good to Vail's....the lake isnt the best, but its the best in alberta.
thatd be sick if they up'd the ante at sunshine. that s-coaster is sick but they definatley need to improve the jumps and such. and your right the patrol there are super uptight.

screw sunshine, and just go to big white, and then you can hit up whistler too...but big whites' park is gonna kick ass this year, something like a 2.5 million dollar expansion thery're making a chalet, and a quad up to it, superpipe, and a halfpipe, and rails and jumps galore!

lopth you're being a moron, you said that lake doesn't compare to most american parks and ian just said that it does compare to vail and vail is one of the best in the states because it has us freeski open and all that poo and then you pop out breck and key which are like 2 of the best in alll the states (sept mam) but there are so many others hils so cut your logic is flawed and you should drown...especially because you said the park at lake is crap which is not cool at all

Louise had Superpark last year and they bought a Zaugg pipe cutter. It's pretty damn good there now.
Nakiska is waaay underrated too. their park is awesome for jumps and flow.
Big White is all talk. Sure they're gonna have an old double chair that services it, but I can't see them having anything good in there besides maybe the pipe if they pull it together. They have had a worse park than the last year's for 4 years in a row... where else does that happen?

No way dude. the pipe at Louise is gonna be amazing, the jumps are always perfect, COP might have better rails, but we'll see.

louise pipe is the biggest POS pipe anywhere that i have riden, its the crapiest place for a pipe, the one at kimberly is better( which is sad, but cop has the best pipe), and i dunno about the 2 days at cop 1 at louise thing, cause louise has such a variety and all the big jumps arent very icy, plus u dont get all the little groms u get at cop

Louise is getting a bigger pipe this year. Its a Zaugg cutter so the tranny will be much bigger, and the walls higher. Hopefully the steepness wont be as much of a factor this year with the bigger trannies.

yeah, i had the pleasure of skiing in banff this past season, (i live in toronto) and was surprised at the park, or lack there of, at sunshine, i guess people dont really go there for the park, when the snows over ur head, but its always a nice alternative, i hope its a little beefier this year

^werd thats southern alberta freestyle team and the alberta team do some training out of there now. they were starting to build jumps on sat but far from done. they have a shit load of rails up against the barn. a lot more then i remember them having and some sick ones too. like 10 rails of all veriaties so i'm excited
