this is a thread started by dutch1 originally but the thread got messy but it is a good idea

props to dutch1 not me

ns.com is a sweet place.. but i propose we can make it even sweeter.

So heres the idea (that I have seen elsewhere):

I have a lot of stuff I don't need, but can't really sale (for more than $5). So I want to give it away (that includes shipping... it's completely free). The first people to pm claiming dibs on the items get them. Simple.

The stipulation is after claiming dibs on the item you either:

1. post a new item that you want to give away, or

2. give a $5 donation to NS

I think this could work if people want it to, so please don't post to whine about something or yell at someone else. If you aren't going to ship something, don't offer it. This could be sweet (or not). So, first come first serve and it's all free.

 
when you call dibs you have to throw up the pictures of what your giving away in the same post

so then every post should have a picture

if you have questions about the item being given away pm the person dont post

when you call dibs you have to put up the item you are giving away with pictures so it stays organized with out alot of crap like this

Im sorry, I dont want to clutter this thread, but you shouldn't have to post a pic. What if you really want an item and need it, want to call dibs but dont have a picture of the thing youll give away? What if it's at your house, and you are at college or something and you cant get the item until the weekend and someone else snipes it. You should just be able to post what you have to give away and post a picture when you can.
 
you realize then the thread will be full of dibs dibs dibs and just get screwed up. If you get the picture up thats the end of discussion, you get the item and its the easiest. Just keep a pic on file for when an item you need pops up.

besides if its not in a place you can quickly take a picture of and ship out you shouldnt be offering it up
