New Oakley Puff Material

Has anyone heard of this new puff jacket that Oakley is making that has an air vent in it so you can adjust the amount of puff in your jacket by blowing in it? I forget where I saw it, but it sounds pretty cool. You could blow it up for colder days, and drain the air when its warmer outside. Thoughts?

I haven't seen it, but how will the air stay in the jacket. Wouldn't it eventually 'deflate'? I bet it would be super warm.

 
Its actually called the radiotor jacket,it doesnt look like a puffy,its a regular shell,with a vest.you can blow air in that vest and the vest is a little wavy,but you cant notice it by the exterior,

thats kinda weird. its at the oakley website under apparel. i dont like the way the jacket looks that much, its kinda bland. heh how much preassure would it take to pop one of the air things?

 
yeah jacket is mo expensive and doesnt look that great

Yeah, I got this jacket for 250 it's an older model but it's super warm. I ski in the northeast and it's perfect. It's and XL khaki and i'm actually thinking about selling it If your interested. The blow vest zips out also and th outside

can be worn as a shell.
 
its bullshit, im holding the 06 catolog in my hands right now and there is no mention of a jacket that has a function like that. The puffy is virtually the same as last year, they just made some design changes and as always some new colors
 
They had a vest like this last year. The concept is to use the trapped air to trap heat ( like anyother insulation), but the air can be adjusted depending on the conditions. I saw a vest like this last year, but honestly, the concept seems pretty junky and expensive for me.
 
check the date, someone brought back a thread from 4 years ago! and yes, there were numerous Oakley jackets with the inflatable fleece. I had the Oakley Radiator, it was the sickest jacket of all time. The inflatable fleece works fantastically, but it is hard to deflate :)
