What do you guys think of this? I think its a pretty sick idea, but some aspects of it confused me. Will there be more news about this or did I miss something? Either way, discuss. Btw, yes I see the thread right below this...but its 2 years old.
 
when does it start? and where is there an easier link to it (rather than going to the x games predictions story)?

other than that i think its awesome, i want to see how it goes down.
 
and will all opening bids be $10 or for people like jon olsson will we have to have a higher max opening bid to get some stocks? (some of parts of this really confuse me)
 
I wanna play but i dont have enough knowledge about the real stock market and trading and shit. Its a sick idea though different from the generic fantasy league idea.
 
I found it now. its under "the site" and its on the far right. but does anybody know when it startsfor sure?
 
i had a long list of tabled orders, but somehow over the course of the night i bought some of them?

i thought if the market wasnt open i couldnt do this... mayube im not getting something
 
i think its already open even though it says its not open. So far my stock is worth 20,000 but i am sure how it really works
 
How did you buy it? I placed my bids at market price and nothing has happened, it's just sitting there...
 
u have to buy skiers from other people look at what price people are selling people for and then bid that amount and you will get them

There are skiers, we buy and sell them in stocks according to how they're doing in the season?

does this mean we have to follow the news on them and everything?
 
I have about $1000 value with a couple hundred $ to spend haha i got raped and missed the boat on the IPO
 
you guys are finding a way to exploit, I can assure you that all the over traded over valued skiers will probably get adjusted to below market value.
 
I hope so - some guy had half a million dollars after day 1. Pics to prove it.

Must be some bugs somewhere
 
Im on a portfolio value of $20000 and a bit. selling jossi cause i dont think he'll place well in pipe. I'm not totally sure what im doing though
 
i think the way it was set up was quite unfair becuase everybody that got to table there orders before the market opend got a huuuge advantage over everybody that had to buy the stocks from them at way higher prices cuase we hadnt seen it yet.

w/e i made like 15 000 so far
 
i hope prices go down because at this point it doesnt ever make sense to sell anything and the only sales are like 100% above market value.
