Yea, there's no reason to believe this story. Some of those specs may be close to what the cameras will be, but that would just be this guy making educated guesses to try and back up the rest of the bullshit he's spewing in this letter. I doubt that nikon is doing 2k.
Exactly what I was thinking. And about the 2k, it wouldn't really be cost-effective for Nikon to develop. Anyone who really needs 2k will probably not buy a DSLR.
Haha like 201 AF points. And 12 FPS on a studio camera. I'm calling BS. The whole situation seems unreasonable. How did the guy remember all of these specs over a 3 hour conversation? Why was he in a restaurant for 3 hours? If Nikon does actually pull this off, I think it would surprise everybody.
i saw that yesterday and as sick as it sounds, like everyone else is saying i just don't think nikon would jump that much further from their current lineup and ever do 2k
If Nikon does this they will probably be laughed at, no screens can support over 2k resolution anyways...the only thing that will be usefully about this is you will be able to crop your video w/o distortion
Yes, there's another unreasonable detail. I don't think there's any way nikon would make a leap from a 8000$ flagship body to a 15000$ one. Honestly guys, I would ignore this.
aha a lot of that stuff was all backwards, D4x having a Foveon sensor(dumb idea , wont happen) d9000 being higher megapixel than a d4?? doesnt make sense
lets just chill at blue ray, 1080p and under 20mp for the general consumer... PLEASEi know there is 2k,3k,4k and 5k (i duno what RED is saying these days) and like 100101010MP but come on... we have what we need.
