New Music Video shot with canon 7d check it out!

Got really boring after about 1 minute, should have probably got some broll and probably shot 3-4 other scenes that you could have cut to.
 
thanks eheath we were kinda just experimenting around with this video but appreciate the feedback! we wanted to keep it plain and simple its a pretty emotional song so we wanted to keep the focus more on the lyrics and emotions.

Add a few more scenes. B/W behind a black screen with one point of lighting? Get creative and shoot somewhere else too!

Also the beat was kinda boring, didn't build up at all which didn't help your cause

What I think: I fucking love the shots, I think its a solid base to what the final clip could be.

how you can save it from boredom? I would go with the creepy vibe and shoot some high contrast shots (like this) of sketchy shit. Like rats eating meat, nail bitting, shit rotting... what ever you can come up with.

I think its a solid start... better than what I get to shoot! I like how you got to go orriginal on the style which is something I can never get silly rappers to do. They always insist on looking fly.
 
lol like 3 people posted, and like said before mixing it up a little would have really helped, its great that you want people to focus on the lyrics but i stopped listening not because of the lyrics but because the video got old fast. making it a little more dynamic by switching to a couple different shots nothing flashy would have really improved the video and drawn people into the lyrics more like you intended.
 
Maybe throw in some other shots? Reminds me way to much of Tylers video. Which im assuming you guys watched and thought you could create something similar?
