all the action parts looked real good! but there was weird editing IMO in the intro and the cuts to b-roll throughout the piece. The shot in the intro should cut before you can tell the camera movement has to stop, but seeing the stop then the rider staring into the camera mixed with the walking the bike was a strange combo. At 0:38 the shot drags on too long after he rips by the bush, then the shot of the water splash on the helmet has a ton of potential but you can barely see it due to it being framed way too close to the top edge and the film burn covering it also. It looks like you used the same exact film burn file throughout this piece and IMO it doesn't work in any of them, and you can easily tell its the same file repeated. Theres very limited scenarios where film burns actually add to a piece instead of taking away. 0:55 is way too jarring, if you want to emphasize a moment like that nose tap use a different camera angle, or even a barely 15% tighter frame from the same angle, but using the exact same framing doesn't work. You did it perfectly with the punch in on the log tap starting at 1:00. One other tiny thing is it got strangely dark @1:44

really cool man, it looked extremely professional. Only critique I would have is to cut it 15 seconds shorter. The pace seemed to drag near the end. Otherwise awesome!

Just commenting to say that I enjoyed the edit and that Kirt is a legend. Always cool to see the crossover between people on this site and pinkbike.

Everything from the riding to filming and editing of this was so sick, well done! Also already saw it on pinkbike but had no idea it was made by someone here so that was cool.
