why is it on a fucking wednesday. it seems like every premier in van is on a wednesday, or at least the ones worth going to..
 
Wednesdays make it difficult to go to work the next day on the island. But I guess thats my fault, not theirs. They still could have done it on a friday or saturday.
 
oh theres nothing wrong with it if you can handle the consequences in the morning, but for those people who live, or will be living (in my case uvic next year) far away and will have to travel a fair distance, they are not able to go if they have school/work the next day.

^i went to the premiere on sunday in whistler...and it is a pretty epic film if you like back country. but it is defnitely a claim..its not the greatest ski movie ever. but its still pretty bomb.

the highlight of the premier was when laura and garette ran in with the empty box.
 
Had a couple cool seggys but definitely nothing special... Nothing revolutionary that's for sure.
 
Anyone feel like sounding the death knell for MSP now, or do you want to wait until you see what PBP and Level 1 did this year?

I was wearing a purple quiksilver shirt, brown hoodie, and jeans. I went with snarfsnarf. I agree it wasn' the best movie ever like they claimed, but i was still mad fun, it was my first premiere
 
Dope. Premieres are fun, but last years Believe and Idea premieres were better. I was in a bright green momentum hoodie and NS tall tee. Neon green TMC condom toque.

Not going to lie, way more stoked after seeing journal than claim... its amazing what jeffy does on a fraction of the budget that msp has. I'm trying to remember the movie but I can't seem too, all that really stood out was Petit, and Kaj's sketchy recovery, along with that french guy's near-death para-skiing crash. Blanking on the rest. I am however looking forward to seeing Ian and Dana's segs in the massive.. nice to see local guys killin it!
