New MPIO mp3

Im thinking of buying a new mp3 player, its the MPIO FL100, it has 128mb of memory (plus a SD card slot, which i will put a 256mb card into) an FM radio, voice recorder and more.

For $150 dollars canadian do you think its a good idea?

I'm not a fan of small flash based MP3 player's. Basically there just isn't enough storage on them. Hard drive based MP3 player's cost a lot more, but are well worth it. Ipod's are sick.

well yah i have my laptop at the condo so i just swap music daily. Im just wondering if u guys think its a good unit with good features and shit.

i own that one... its freakin awesome, id say get it. I dont have the card but i have like 35 songs on myne.

one time i accidentally pressed the record button at skool and i recorded my teacher tweakin at me (it wuz funny as hell)

ipods are great for a ton of songs, but smaller flash ones are nice to have also, i have an ipod

make sure its possible to put a 256 mb into that because on my old rca lyra i coudn't use my 256 mb in it beacuse most mp3 players are not capible to use a memory card that has more storage capacity then the mp3 players has

actually its not a piece of crap, its completely different than the ipod as it has 128mb of flash memory instead of a fucking 20gb hard drive. If i was looking for a 10+ gb unit i would defenately go with an ipod, but im looking for a small lightweight unit for skiing and school so small flash players are what im after.

dg101, it suits your needs perfectly. You don't need an iPod for skiing. I have one and its everything I could want in an MP3 player, but since you mentioned that you will be bringing the laptop to the hill and can swap out music, you'll be fine. For me, I like having all my tunes on the hill, but I guess that's not an issue for you.

It looks like its got decent functionality on it, hard to see the buttons on the side from the picture, but it looks alright, and for 110 thats a pretty good deal for a small piece like that. I'd also recommend a Mini-Disc player, although I'm not sure how much a mini disc can hold nowadays. Make sure you get some new phones though, those are guaranteed shit.

hey guys i just picked it up last night a future shop, it came to about 160 with tax. I love this thing, ive used it all day at school. There is like a little flick stick to scroll through songs and the interface program is so easy to use. I took the 256 mb SD card out of my camera and put it in the slot, adding to the 128 internal memory. This player is sick, i used my good sony earbuds from my cd player.

yeah, i had an iriver and broke it, but the record was fun as hell. we have all these dumbass hillbillies at my school, and wed get um to freestyle into it. funniest shit ever.
