Alright kiddies, I have some great news for you all. because of the quality issues we have had this season, we are going to be making new molds for the pro twins line. The new mold will have a slightly different shape and be a bit wider (about 88mm in waist, as opposed to 85mm). I know 3 mm sounds like a tiny bit, but it will make a big difference. The shape of the tips will be modified slightly to disperse energy away from the glue. This is why the skis were splitting so much. All the energy from slapping off jumps and rails was going straight to the glue, which honestly no glue is really strong enough to withstand the energy.
Unfortunately we wont be able to do a lot of testing until this summer, but we will have them ready by Fall 05 for the winter season.
Hope you all got your videos in! We will begin reviewing them soon. Because of construction at our new office, we hav'nt had a chance to set a meeting time yet, so if you still need to, send in those videos!
If any of you have any other suggestions on how to make the skis better, post them below!
