new missoula ski area

this is a chance for the freestyle skiiers in missoula to step in and make sure they are dedicated to the newschool movement with a progressive park. good luck, and the power is in your hands

when i was 2 my parents put me on a pair of sticks.....i have been running wild ever since.

when i was 2 my parents put me on a pair of sticks.....i have been running wild ever since.

great falls tribune, its also going to have 5,300 feet of vertical, 1000 feet more than JH and big sky

you can see some runs that have already been cut from town. problem is that they're all low angle, low elevation so far. the forest service has not yet agreed to lease the higher elev land adjacent to the area owned by the developer. there is also a proposed golf course. the guy wants to make it a year round destination resort.

it hasn't been aproved yet the runs hes cutting is on his own land. the guy don't have enough money to do it. he wanted to buy a piece of my grampas ranch and he couldn't affrod that. theres no way that he can aford ten high speed quads. hes waiting for an investor to drop in. hes not going to put in a terrain park. its gonna be like another sun valley. bill grasser the owner of losttrail made a coment wich is the best of the century to this asshole. he said you need to quite thinking about whistler and think about the bitterroot. hello if it does go in there wont be enough people to support it. and if you had a choice what would you buy a lift ticket that costs 25 bucks or 60 bucks there gonna have the same acreg as lostttrail. losttrail gets more powder hmm and has a rail park and there thinking about putting in a freestyle park. im totally against it.

too bad? do we want a sun valley in montana? i dont think so. i support what mtpowderjunkie said. the local resorts are the ones that care about us locals, support them

binding destruction count: 2 so far this season, one pair of lines and one pair of rossis: what will be next?

have you ever been to sun valley? its a complete tourist town, with a resort that sells $10 a slice pizza and the bathrooms are about the size of big mtns cafeteria!!!! they have no park, and do their best to round off every feature that you can get air off of (see: the only slanted cat tracks in the world). montana does not need another destiniation resort.

binding destruction count: 3 so far this season, one pair of lines and two pairs of rossis: what will be next?

In Montana we already have a destination resor, Big Sky. This resort was rated as one of the best resorts in the U.S. But i agree with you, no matter how good a piece of pizza tasted, it aint worth 10 bucks.

i am well aware of the fact that mt has destinataion resorts: big sky, and big mtn, where i ski. though, big mtn is kinda a poser destination resort. they dont really get the numbers to sustain it.
