New look vs. old look

The new Look's have the same release pattern as the turntable rear but it's in the toe piece. You still have the same heel retention.

But, what most of you idiots don't understand is that even with a din setting of 0-2, you'll still be able to achieve enough pressure on your knee to snap you ACL/MCL/LCL before it releases.

Skiing smart and within your limits would be a better alternative to getting new bindings.

thats true if you fall the right way, but its less likely.

i dont like those old pivot heel pieces because i always pop the brake plate if i do a switch landing step out. i have salomon 912 ti's on my other skis and seem to be able to fuck up a switch landing ok, but ive gone through 5 brake plates on my looks.

its 90% just my shit technique, but it still pisses me off.

Buy salomon.

i think old....my friend always seems to eject on cab 5s with his salomons and another person NEVER ejects needlessly doing cab 5s

ok the p14 style and p18 style are WAAAAAY different, the toe peice on a p14 DOESN'T work like the heel of a p18, or else it wouldn't be capable of fliping over itself, the pivot system on p18's,zr18's, rossi 185's, and 155's, is BY FAR the best. P14's, and scratch 140's (or 12's and 120's) is good for a lighter not as serious skier but they will break easy if you ski hard, (there 90% plastic) but some pivots will last you at least a few pairs of skis.
