goddamn that music fucking sucks.. its just a bunch of hyped up ghetto rats, talking to the same beat over and over about how bleeding rich they are, then people go and buy their albums and their clothes and just give them more money, so they can make musics videos and throw it back in your face... every time i see lloyd banks i have the overwhelming desire to see harm come to him. Noone even cares about the issues put across in rap anymore, its fucking ridiculous, theres very few artists left like Kanyé West who actually write music for a reason.
 
kanye is the border between mainstream and underground. not with the music but philosophies.

not to sound elitest but mainstream sucks. if you want to hear good rap listen to old rap or current underground.
 
KANYE IS NOT SMART. He tries to be contreversial and create contreversy as well ceate buzz for himself. Hes smart enough to know how to sell records but that about as far as his knowledge goes. Whenever he tries to be "conscious" on his songs, he always sounds extremly unintelligent. Have you ever listened to him talk? I saw and In the Studio special with him and was amazed at his stupidity, hes no smarter than lloyd banks and by no stretch of the imagination does he put out better music.
 
For example, In the song heard em say, he has a line that goes "and i know the government administer aids". What a stupid thing to say. That lines not even connected to the rest of the song at all. It sounds like he just put it in the song in an attempt to be contreversial and conscious. Well it dosnt work.
 
all that shit is a fucking joke. they just put on a show to make them look cool so that people buy there music and they can increase their bling factor.
 
yeah hes a self promoter and i hate his music but that doesnt mean that hes stupid nor does it mean that gangster rap isnt fucking so dead and just being flogged by manufactured crack dealing faggots like g unit....the only hip hop worth listening to is old skool or underground.
 
not gonna lie theres obviously a lot of garbage rap out right now.. but who ever hates kanye download "stand up freestyle" and yeah i'll have to agree, I like more underground rap then I do mainstream
 
llyod banks suck, he's super maibnstream, and has no skill, or the people hired by his record label to write songs for him
