I wonder if in the next few years we will see other ski companies adopt the 4-hole pre-drilled pattern. Or will they be stupid and all come out with their own pattern so they can make you buy theri bindings?

Xcountry skiing is kinda like that. There are two (maybe more) main binding types. Which is gay in my opinion. Everything should be compatable or I am gonna start tieing my shoes to skis.

The binding is gay and will not catch on. Theres industry standards that line brok by doing that (I.e. din settings, boot combatability) and nobody wants to mess with that so they'll make line the outcast

dude I don't know what your talking about with boot compatibility and DIN settings on the line bindings. Any boot will work and it has din settingsd 4-12 like most other bindings. If you've read any of the reviews of the reactor a lot of people are saying that many of the major binding companies (marker, salomon, Tyrolia) are taking hints from the direction that LINE is pushing
