New LINE ski on TV!!!

your afterbangs?
and dope find man, i really like the blue and red ones more than the green ones the owner of line had. and on that note, it really isnt a suprise that the line guy has full tilts. he invented lineand bought full tilt i think. so he owns both. right?

Those look and sound rad!

I bet they'll have mad springy pop due to the profile of the stacked veneer. It seems like the veneer wouldn't spring as natural as a single piece of wood with a grain structure.

Sounds like a great concept and the graphics are pretty sick. I trust line because pretty much every ski they make is copied by other companies a couple years later.

the topsheet reminds me of the last few models of K2's obsethed...

but yea, its no surprise that LINE is up to thier new tricks again.

im waiting for them (or someone else) to pick up the whole reactor binding idea and actually make it work. do you guys understand how epic that could be?????

sounds pretty sick.LINE should make it in a bigger size than 178 (which was their tallest park ski i think) becasue many people would enjoy a 182 - 185 i beleive. sounds sick tho fo sho.

i liked how she asked "are they expensive?" and the guy host is like no they're (about to quote a number) ... er at least they cost the same as other skis --which are fucking expensive!

that's sick! i was trying to remember what their graphicic reminded me of... totally remember that graphic from back in the day. never owned a santa cruz when i used to skate, i was a powell peralta man, but daayum it's refreshing to remember those times.

great post dude!

Awesome design, and great constuction. The afterbangs new technologie with the wood sidewall will help it outlast all other skis making it very impressive.

no i do, and i understand the relative 'cheapness' of the afterbangs, try reading what i said again

($350 -$400 is expensive)

i read about these in the 2010 line catalog yesterday at work... they were symmetrical and fairly wide as i remember.. they look sick though, 7 layer construction with carbon stringers for pop.. looks like a good design, i want to see how they hold up

Graphics would be sick if they didn't have a green or blue background for the topsheet, and just left it so you can see the grain. Just like at 4:45

Hey if you guys wanna see next years LINE skis come to perfect north indiana and see chris lakers skis. They are SICK!!! Especially the anthems

I can't get the video to play, anyone got it hosted anywhere else or could take some screenshots?

cheers

I thought that the reason skis aren't normally constructed like this is because imperfections in the wood make it really hard to make all the skis identical. If this is true, I'd imagine afterbangs are going to cost an arm and a leg.
