i wouldn't get them anyway cause i made the mistake of getting reactor 12's but whatever now im getting new skis so im happy

my initial thought, but the line logo on the wood immediately in front of the binding makes me wonder. deliberate placement of the logo and binding in my opinion...

agreed, but I think that the development and interest, even at that stage, could pair up with line's innovations and could definitely lead in the right direction. (binding interchangeability?)

If Line puts out Reactor II, its the Best kept secret of the year.

On another note, are those new lines??

What? Reactors? What are Reactors? Pivogy? Quit talking crazy, Line has never made bindings.

whoa whoa, lets not start stating things as fact that arent. line is owned by k2, but line skis (and bindings potentially) are still line products. what does make sense though is that since marker and line are owned by k2 that k2 has helped line work with marker to create a binding for line

whats with line and full tilt their exhibits are together basically and there products are next to eachother and shit.

Jay is a rep for full tilt and im pretty sure (don't qoute me) that a few of the line mcs get flow from full tilt. the companies are pretty close.

yea they made bindings. reactor 10s and reactor 12s. great idea, they fit in screw pockets like a snowboard binding, but they are just super heavy and break easy. I have a pair on some old chronics

Now I know that it's been said that no technology has been shared, and I know that schmies may be coming in here in a few minutes to tell me I'm wrong, but the aquisition of line could have been a help in the development of the new marker bindings.

i think you just really, really, overly want it to happen so you are coming up ideas in your head that, in your eyes, make it logical and therefore correct.

there have been plenty of skis shown with other companies bindings. last year, for instance, when oh so many skis were shown with the white rossi's on them. its for show. people see it and say "that looks sick together". maybe K2 wanted people to see marker at more booths then just the marker booth. i very highly doubt that just because some jesters are on the ground next to a line logo that automatically means line is making bindings again.

I've never been to the SIA so i would have no idea if companies pair up other companies bindings with their skis, but that seems kind of odd to me. why would a company with no relation to rossi promote the rossi binding? what im saying in this thread is that the placement of the line logo in front of the binding makes it seem like line is displaying a binding. if im wrong, i would love to be told so so that i dont keep my hopes up for line bindings next year.

it does make sense that line would give some ideas to marker since they are now owned by the same corporation. cause line has good ideas and marker has the experiance to make a pair of sick bindings. maybe im pushing for what i want but its possible...

yes. I understand why line and k2 don't share ski technology, as has been stated before. But line doesn't have the resources to produce a binding, so it makes sense that a conglomerate would use technology, in that instance, in another area.

its product placement. i was at the OR in salt lake last week and saw a pair of Line skis on an add for the helly hansen booth, that doesnt mean they are teaming up to work on something. it means eric pollard skis for both line and h/h and even marker now that i think about it. its just product placement. i wouldnt get your hopes up.

hey i wasn't stating things as facts facts have periods or exclamation points afterwards, questions to be pondered have question marks afterwards.

It is a marker binding, with the marker logo on it. No line involvement at all. They are put on/by the line skis at the trade show for the same reason they are put on the volkl and k2 skis. It helps sell more skis. People can then see how sweet a prophet 100 mounted with dukes is. The reason that K2 skis and Line have markers next to them instead of salomons is that both companies are owned by K2 Sports, which also happens to own Marker/Volkl/Technica, Making it easyer for the line and k2 ski guys to get their hands on markers.

yeah, definately NOT the LINE binding, marker dukes...however, nice picture of the new prophets, well played
