I was listening to Jay Severend on the radio in my car today and he brought up a lot of valid points on Bill Clinton and the shit we are involved in nowadays. First off, Clinton gave North Korea Nuclear capabilities during his term, as well as china. North Korea asked clinton for the materials used in making nuclear bombs, saying that they were only going to use it to produce energy. And wouldnt you know it, clinton gave them the materials, therefore creating this huge mess we have with NK. I mean, how much of a dumbass would you have to be to believe NK. Using the materials just for energy, yah right. Now, this mess with Osama Bin Laden could have been easily prevented by Clinton. That asshole had 3 chances to take Osama out, 3 perfect chances when he was out in the open. If clinton had the balls to pull the trigger back then, we may not be in the situation that we r in today. And dont say that we werent provoked, because the World Trade Centers were bombed during clintons term. and he did nothing, he just stood by and didnt seek justice because he believed that it would tarnish his image and make the american people not "love" him. I think that William Jefferson Clinton was a despicable president.

First of all clinton did try to take out bin laden with cruise misiels but they were a few minutes late i beleave. second he didnt go and give north korea the stuff the needed to build nuclear power plants he just did not take them out while they were being constructed like isrial did when sadam was trying to build nuclear power plants. dont blame everything on clinton beacuse he was a much beter president then bush.

many valid points but a couple problems...i think he may have been the only president to fight a non-pointless war what did we gain out of fighting in bosnia and kosovo? nothing it was something that needed to be done and somalia we did a humane thing there and that is why i have some respect for him...granted he lied to america and who could blame him with a wife like hillary...bitch...well anyway he did disable like 99% of iraqi ships and planes so it made bush look good after we captured baghdad in like half an hour but the last 3 presidents have been in iraq? why? what has sadaam huessein done to us? why are we there? why are we standing around in iraq waiting for a child wrapped with explosives sent up to our troops? i have 2 real good friends in iraq i don't see any fucking reason they should be there bush has done whatever whackjob he wanted to do now all we are doing is lowering the wordwide opinion of america...and it doesnt get much lower all we are doing is creating another isreal back to clinton...i'm not anti bush or anything i just don't see justification of the troops in iraq...all in all clinton made some bad choices and some good ones

have you heard of the domino therory? well during that time we felt that if a country in a region fell to comunisum the other countries in that region would becom comunist also. if this happend to anumber of countries it would alow comunisum as a whole to gain power and during the cold war we wanted to stop the spread of comunisum.

and as for clinton going to war with iraque he had no choice he had to get them out of kewuaite because we had an obligation to protect them and if we did not stop his invasion we would loose credibilty around the world. as for bush invading iraqe it was not justified. in fact by clinton not taking the whole country the US gained respect that we had never had before from many arab nations, respect that has all been lost after what bush did.

dude i think we should have and heres why. ill list reasons why.

1.If the united states decided to invade japan instead, millions of lives of american soldiers could have been lost. The japanese had all of their forces concentrated in the area of the us projected landing areas.

2. The japanese had instilled Katsugo or whatever, and they were training their citizens to kill americans at any means necessary, so even if we made it past the beaches, wed have to deal with a country full of suicidal japs.

3. Public image of President truman played a huge part. If Truman decided to invade, then millions could have died, and if people found out that their son or husband died when a bomb could have been dropped, then there would be hell to pay. i think that this was totally right.

4. lastly, if we did not drop the bomb, we would have had to face a joint invasion with the soviets, and that would have left a huge land mess to deal with afterwards, so we didnt want todeal with the reds.

it's not the same as the terror he's talking about...we aren't going in there for reasons of a terrorists we are in 1 country and we aren't causing "terror" to the entire population we are giving them some relief and some don't want to give up basically what you're saying is when we fight a war we are causing terrorism because we are fighting in an area where there is civilians and it causes them fear? it's very hard to determine the line between justified militaristic actions and acts of terrorism us being in iraq or afghanistan is NOT terrorism
