New Level 1 Trailer (seriously this time)

Why are the files so damn huge?

This isn't your ordinary

trailer. Its more or less a 4 and a half minute timelapse of the entire

season. While most web clips are released at 10, 15, 20, or even 24

frames per second, the only way to make this work was a 30fps file.

More frames = bigger file sizes. The larger two files are also HD.

What the hell?!?!? I can't see any action!

This isn't your

normal trailer. Its different. Its a 6-month period and 80+ hours of

footage crammed into less then 5 minutes. You're not supposed to be

able to see action in the traditional sense, but look closely and

there's some pretty awesome stuff in there.

I hate this trailer. It makes me nauseous and gives me a headache. Also, I don't like anything new and different.

This trailer isn't for everyone. We wanted to do something new and

different, so, we did. We'll have a more traditional version of the

trailer with "real" watchable action sooner or later. Until then, avoid

seizures by not watching this one in a dark room or more then three

times per day.

4 hours remaining to download?!?!! this may have been a bad idea. guess I'll just keep looping the Idea teaser...
 
haha is that the X-Large? im downloading the large and ive only got 1 hr 24 mins.

If i play it in slowmotion will i see the whole film? if you know what i mean?
 
No... you will see random frames from throughout the season, none of which will do you much good other then give you an idea of what went on, and less of a headache.
 
I really hated that. It didn't get me stoked at all. The Idea trailer on the other hand, I watched 3 times in a row.
 
i like the idea, it's just long, i can't say much else cus i really didn't catch anything specific, but the shots looked beautiful for all of 4 nanoseconds.

so is the new trailer idea to have ur season laid out in months? stept seemed to do the same thing
 
It was kind of cool, I wouldn't really call it a trailer though. If you take it frame by frame you can see lots of stuff.
 
okay. I just watched a minute. In another hour, I'll try to watch another minute. By tonight I'll have the whole thing done. They'd better have a real trailer soon.
 
The best part is when your watching everything and all of a sudden one shot just sticks out to you and goes slower. or maybe its cuz im high on PCP
 
Umm... wow... that was the fucking sickest trailer I've ever seen... holy shit. The editing... the flow... wow... fuck that was honestly mind blowing it was so sick. That is honestly my favorite trailer of all time.... ahhhhh so fucking sick and intense.
 
i just think a trailer has gotta be more than the entire movie in 500x speed. not even one visible trick in the entire thing. as a photography/editing project, thats pretty sick, but as a ski movie... lame.
 
I downloaded the XL version and it truely is huge. It took an hour and five minutes to complete and just fits on my screen. But it was worth it.
