Alright despite their gay video for TRL the CD is great, kind of like a mix between 'Hello Rockview' and Borders and Boundaries, but it's cool because their is a lot of variety, from reggae sounding songs to punkish ones

Now the king told the boogie men

You have to let that raga drop

The oil down the desert way

Has been shakin' to the top

The shiek he drove his Cadillac

He went a' cruisnin' down the ville

The muezzin was a' standing

On the radiator grille

The shareef don't like it

Rockin' the Casbah

Sweet - I'm seeing them tonight, with the Teen Idols, Pietasters and Allister. I've got a big exam tomorrow at 9.30, but hey, it's LTJ, so it'll be worth it.

I'm just back from the LTJ show and god damn it was sweet. I missed Alister but I heard they were pretty good. The Teen Idols were pretty good musically I thought (female bassist's backup vocals were superb), but the crowd didn't repond much to it. The Pietasters played mostly older style full-on ska, with some very Mustar Plug type upbeat songs thrown in that really got the crowd moving. and then Less Than Jake - they were awesome I didn't think much of the newer stuff (hardly any horns - the guys were just stanbding around), but they played all the classics (except my favoutie, 'Scott Farcas...'). The crowd was very young though, and too crowded up near the stage, but there was plenty room for dancing at the back. For sure one of the best shows I've been to.

young crowds are fun though, cause you can throw them around more easily and not get your ass kicked
