New lens for the summer?

So, right now I have crowbars with pink iridium, and the original persimmon lens too. I'm planning on getting a new pair with a new lens next season, but I'm going to camp this summer.

I can handle the pink iridium in sun regularly, but do you think it might be a bit more intense in the summer?

If it would be, do you think I should go for a new lens before summer, or just wait until I get it with some of next years frames?

I'm leaning towards later, but if my eyes are gonna get messed I don't want that to happen.
 
I would highly recomend a fire irideum lens for summer. it will be much better then your pink
 
Get something darker for sure, if you don't want to drop the cash on a new crowbar lense, find some cheaper scotts of smiths with a dark lense for like 30 bucks. at least thats what i did, and it saved me money and i dont have to worry about trashing my $130 pair of goggles.

such_is_life has a sale in the BST with new cbar VR28 lenses for 30$, which are perfect in the sun. check em out
