So I am playing this year and I wanted to know what gear (brands, types) I should buy or like beginner but good gear for me.

I dont know what else I need to say so help me out here!

i always rocked a warrior evo pro head with a krypto pro shaft. stick is just preference

everyone likes cascade helmets, and i usually wore warrior shoulder pads and brine ventilator armpads. my favorite gloves ever are warrior superstars because the cuff isn't tight at all
 
dude it really depends show much your trying to spen like for gloves the mac daddys are sick, and shaft you want something light like crypto pro or an f22, it also depends what postition you want to play like for attack you want like really big elbow pads cuz ur gonna get slashed alot but for d you barley need anything for pads but if your relaly not sure that your going to continue playing dont buy top of the line shit
 
It's all preference and budget man. See if you can find a lax store near you (Laxworld is awesome) and go try on pads and see what is the most comfortable. Or you could check out a play it again sports or something for used gear to save a few dolla bills.

Stick wise, warrior is where it's at IMO, I played D and have used numerous warrior revolution heads, they are the shit. Go play with some shafts and see what feels the best in your hands. It's all about what feels good to you. Cascade helmets are awesome. The teams I have been on have used mainly brine gloves, they break in super nice and are durable. Hope this helps, have fun man.
 
some of what gator said is good. for a helmet you want to make sure if you get a colored one that your coach is ok with it. i got a red one, and the hs team i played on was green, so i had to go out and buy a new one. right know i have been using a brine clutch 2 head with a crankshaft.

It really depends where you play. My friends asked me on the team when I was a junior in HS, so I said fuck it why not. It was great, they put me as faceoff specialist because I was a big football player at the time, and I didn't have to do shit except light kids up. I used a small midi stick mostly because it was more maneuverable, you don't need good gear your first year, get some second hand stuff until you figure out what you like.

I've got a brine f15 with warrior mojo head and love it. oh and you should get a beach towel so you can show up early to lax practice to tan.
 
i ahve been sing the STX super power the past two years, because all collegiate teams had to switch to new rules, i dunno what high school rules are like but this head is the shit
