New Joystick stuff?

it seems like a dead idea to me. sort of what happened to NS Clothing. Nothing too exciting, somewhat high pricing, lack of demand. You'll see them come back in a year or so I think maybe with a better design and more than like 5 shops nationwide will start to carry them. Seriously, selling freestyle poles online and in like 5 shops isnt going to do it in this industry to survive. I mean unless you want to go uber core and support the core core core which i think is not that important, then you're not going to drop 60 on a pole which is pretty universal at this point with the technology and some new poles by K2 and others are looking sick as well.

^ haha. you called him barney. thats funny. and i dunno about the new stuff. i can't really get into a stricly pole company. Sure they have sick cloths, but i don't buy many hoodies/t-shirts every season. Seems like there isn't much hype about the new stuff, like there is about other brands.

your exactly right they need to sell their poles at tons of shops and resorts everywhere and lower the price until everyone knows about them and what have you

Joystick is far from dead, you people don't even know. You read far too much into the new site not being up. That comparison to

NS clothing was completely rediculous.

As far shops go, you'll be seeing them in a lot more places this year, especially out East.

Keep your heads up.

After seeing what Adamskinick wrote I knew you had to come in here and comment haha.

Joystick is not dead.

1. The pricing is competitive with other poles with the same construction. Those gold k2 pub en poles were unoriginal and lame.

2. The grips and strap system are just fucking sick. It's not a big deal but it's still cool that they actually made it a good pole with its own original features besides it being incredibly steeze.

3. Joystick is doing fine and is neither struggling nor in any danger of disappearing.

4. NS clothing... uh... What? No. No no no no no. You've got to be joking.

5. 5 shops carry them? What the fuck? I can think of 3 shops in whistler village alone that have them.

6. Riiiiiight... core companies not important... I'll just pretend you didn't say that.

7. Just wait. This season's stuff is going to be good. I can't wait to see the new designs, but there will be more selection for sure, and better availability.

JD the PE pole was pretty cool. And to say it is unoriginal is not true, because Ive never seen the type of grips they have on those before. I like those grips.

How can you say those poles are overpriced? They are cheaper than any comparible pole.(construction) and yes the pe poles are unoriginal and ugly...

I find it ridiculous to spend that much money on poles when essentially broomsticks would suffice. However, I dare not speak ill of joystick, because what they're doing is exactly what I wish more companies did and in my opinion what more companies should start doing if they really want to be serious about this sport , and thus, Joystick is fucking sick. soooo steeped

do you think any snowboarders were ever on a forum saying..."man, grenade gloves are so expensive and unoriginal! they're just like dakine gloves" quit bitching and be happy that there are companies out there trying to do something cool...besides, i'll bet most of you (i apologize to the rest) don't pay for your shit anyways

Ok, I should have phrased it differently, you're right, that was just my opinion and other people might feel differently and love them. I was just not feeling the gold. At all.

Laura I understand what you're saying, but you're reasons are exactly why they're worth the money, and why people should support.
