New Jimi Hendrix song. Hype.

Saw this on facebook. Always stoked on new/old material getting released from some of these artists.

I saw one of mitch mitchells last shows a month before he died. So glad I got to see him. Dude was the man

...which means that his evil stepsister can further milk the cow and capitalize on material that has already been available.

People will still be listening to Jimi in 100 years.

Though not a "new" song, this is extremely underappreciated. I honestly think it's one of the best guitar tracks ever laid down

What? No dude, that is one of the most famous rock songs in history...underappreciated, my ass. Brilliant though, brilliant.

Hearing phish cover bold as love made me so fucking happy. I mean obviously jimi played it better, but hearing one of my favorite artists of the now channel one of my favorite artists or the past was awesome.

I know I already said it but getting to see mitch mitchell in 08 was awesome for me. As a drummer and a hendrix lover that was just awesome. Sad that he dies right after though. I got to see him though, where there are so many greats I missed.

Hendrix is a legend though, and his music will live on forever. Dubstep will come and go, but hendrix will still be relevant in another 50 years.

you wanna talk about unappreciated,

also, if you EVER find a recording of any of his live stuff pre-experience, buy it. there is some serious jam in those recordings, all of them.

read about this in the newspaper (yes they still exist). It really poses the question "what if?"

We always wonder what things people like Jimi would have done if they didn't die so soon in their lives. Apparently he was trying to change from the 3 man band type of music and was gunna do some other shit, and this was the beginning.

This interview is one of the coolest things ive ever seen... he is a truly remarkable man

Yeah this album is dope just downloaded it make sure you get a god high quality file though as always with re-praise recordings.

The indian song is actually "Cherokee Mist", and heavily edited by Alan Douglas (that massive prick). Look it up under the latter name.

God is so lucky! He gets to see Jimi and Stevie Ray jamming together any time he wants. Rumor has it that Keith Moon sits in once in awhile an lays down some beats that nobody can follow. Keith is even sicker now on drums because he picked up the arm from Def Leppard's drummer. Not sure who plays bass, but probably John Entwistle.

playing by ear yo.

And arabian. It's listed as one of the other or both at the same time a bunch. generally as cherokee mist but its all over as both so good enough.

I disagree completely. I like the stripped down versions of what he did before studio editing. Some of the charm is ruined by trying to equalize the raw sound into something that's more palatable for the masses. Don't get me wrong, the estate needs money BADLY, and I'm wholly approve of any sort of marketing they do to help the family out. It's just a personal choice. If you're a fan, hit up Pandysloo for my 46 album teaser torrent, or try to find my 94 album complete Hendrix torrent that I used to seed. (46 is better imo, I cut out redundant albums and mixes).
