aright well i downloaded some mixtape and i don't understand it. what's the concept of a mixtape? is it actually the album or just random stuff that might be put out? there's like 30 tracks but it's weird.

at first i didnt like jay z cuz nas is iller and they had "beef". but upon further review jay z is good

i have the whole album, kind of disappointing.. for the most part his rhymes are where they've been lately, nothing too deep but overall solid minus the occasional weird line. as for the beats... its about 50/50 good and not so amazing. i wouldn't say any of them are bad by any means, but with all the hype he definitely could have chosen a better selection. what struck me as odd though was the collab with lil' wayne.. after everything going on with them the last thing i expected was for weezy to be on a jay-z album, but these days i guess anything can happen. at least the song sucked

for some reason all the ones i checked out are missing the two tracks too, but i pretty much had the same feeling. i never really liked jay z too much anyway, but i was hoping maybe this album would get me on his track a little bit more. nothing too great though.
