New jacket/style

Anyone know any good jackets or snow pants for a 14 year old wanting to add some more style to his skiing?jk I do need a new jacket and snow pants tho... any suggestions?

One of things I wish I'd realized when I was younger is that bigger sized clothing doesn't (always) mean its looks better. Specifically look for gear that's listed as "tall" or has a "signature fit" and start buying clothes based on their actual dimensions (length/width/inseam) rather than size. Most park oriented companies (saga, arsenic, etc.) keep this in mind and call out their gear has extra length but if you buy like an XXL North Face jacket, it's gunna look more boxy than steezy.

Style is subjective so it's really just whatever you think is cool/makes you happy, but this would have deff helped 14 year-old me to look better haha

Armada or North Face are good options for cheaper outerwear that fits well. Like the other guy said, look for outerwear with a tall or baggy fit and buy the size you normally wear, this way the jacket will have the length/width you want while still fitting you and not just hanging off of your shoulders. If there is a good shop near you go in when they get their new gear and try on a couple of brands to see what fits you.

I personally wear oakley pants and jacket, both very warm and stylish. I buy my gear from my local shop (you should too, it helps them). Looking online can help you get an idea of what you want, but don't set your heart on anything. Snow pants just gotta be snow/water resistant and insulated, jackets are personal preference. Wear what you like, I'd assume your parents are paying too so you might want to keep in mind that the good looking $400 jacket isn't going to significantly outperform the decent looking $200 jacket. Check if they have a used section too. Big discounts, pretty good stuff.

Go to good will with $20. If you can't buy it you don't need it. Should be able to get decked out for under $10.

This. Maybe not that cheap, my local goodwill does like $15/jacket or $10/pants. Still, that's an essential item of clothing for the cost of a mcdonalds meal. You're gonna grow, you're gonna tear and wear through equipment too. fuck my last post on this thread, this is better.
