New iPod.... werd

they are updating the ipod and the new version should be reveled on sep. 5th at 10am PST. some people are speculating it will be touch screen and possible have wifi. sounds neat. i want one!

Yeah, I heard about the Wi-Fi. Seeing as DRM is on it's way out, I think it's possible that people may "share" their music... maybe send it to their friend, they can listen to it once, and then if they want they can buy it off iTunes or something. Or maybe it's like sharing iTunes over a network, you can listen to a buddies library... over Wifi.

I guess it's more than likely that it's going to be a touchscreen, seeing as the iPhone has one, I guess that's what they've been lookng into.

 
i'm so ready for a new ipod. i have a 5th gen, but if its a fullscreen touch with wifi like you guys say it is, i might just have to get a new one.
 
i herd the next round of mp3 players including ipod are gonna all be flash memory and that they are gonna have 16 gig flash memory ipods meaning no skip and no messed up hard drives, if it was that and built like the curent video thats the only way i would get one
 
I agree with that only because there aren't many people with the zune so it's not used often at all. but if more people had it then we could constantly be sharing new albums, songs, and pics. and there is a way of taking the drm off the song after it's shared by someone.
