how much more durable are they than the first gen nanos cause they were soo easy to break.

what broke on first generation nanos?? Cos the memory sure as hell didnt. (flash) maybe they scratched easy but those things were pretty bomber...

SCREW IPOD NANOS

Seriously, go to www.apple.ca and look at the prices. You are a fucking moron if you would buy a nano over the new video. For like $40 more you can get the extra 26 GB and the bigger screen so you can watch ski movies all the time.

Yeah, the nanos seem kind of beat compared to the full size one. Maybe for girls its sdiffernet cause they have small pockets, but the normal size ipod fits nicely in mine.

ya, except you're forgetting nano's are flash and not harddrive w/c makes their value go way up at least for me. I've gone through 3 harddrives on ipods and a flash based player seems much better to me now...

the new nano's are extremely less durable than the first generation nano's. I saw a review for the new nano where they did a drop test on the original and new nano. It took the first nano a 9 foot drop to break, and only a single drop from about 3 feet (height of the guys knee) for it to break.

but iPods are overrated, creative makes better players.

that's the way, creative kills it on every level. better battery, better video quality, better audio quality, better features and way better audio/video compatibility. plus they are built like a tank.

yeah but its so hard to use the creative mp3s its impossible to like scroll and stuff ipods are so much easier + they look cool

ive got some hardcore philips one that i skied over once and it still works, i also dropped it in a puddle of water, and its still works

but think of how much more compatible it is with regular file formats...especially pcs...since im a pc user. creative over ipod anyday

id much ratehr have it over the ipod. ive read reviews about the zen vision M and its supposed to last its time not like the majority of ipods breaking down in a year. i also much prefer the file format compatibility. all my songs are mp3...easier to drag and drop than go though itunes in my mind...and all my videos are mpg and avi...much easier to drag and drop than covnert them so they will play on an ipod

there isnt too much point in waiting for zune, since it is basically a microsoftitized toshiba gigabeat. there may be more features, not too sure (of course the wi-fi music swapping) so i'm pretty sure its basically the same as the gigabeat

naahhh zens are bad news... a couple of my friends had them and they broke... but there have been many cases of that with ipods too so i dunno
