Dont know a lot but its suppost to be out June15, full MMS, full GPS and 3g...plus much much more...going to be in only black again like the old one.
 
just read a couple of review real quick, and you could be right. i've never heard of it but i'm gonna check that out seeing my plan is up soon. thanks haha.

There are no legit pictures out yet. Probably won't see anything until WWDC on June 9th.

You can speculate all you want here but most people won't know anything, you'd be better off to check sites like

I know they will come in black because i think it was the AT&T site that added the colour option to white or black, saw it on ipodtouchfans.com
 
I havnt seen that LG phone but i have the LG KU990 Viewty. Very similar to an iphone, but you need to buy a microsd memory card (up to 12gb) for it.

Check it out if you want an iphone with a camera....
 
i think i saw that too. but no, they were just predictions of what people thought the iphone was going to look like.

Not entirely true. In order to get exclusivity, apple got att into a revenue sharing agreement. It's the only phone manufacturer (that I know of), that get's a cut of a provider's service revenue.

Anyways, apple were able to make a killing on a phone that lagged behind other cheaper alternatives. Hopefully for those who buy the new one, it will actualy be worth the cost.
 
ya, i talked to the lady at the store and she said that apple will only let att sell their phones if they make a data plan nessicary and give apple some $ for it. This is cause apple wants ppl to use their phones to their full capacity, and if you didnt have a data plan, you couldnt use alot of the features on it
 
you serious? they didn't even change anything from the 1st gen except 3g capability, which is already standard and soon to be outdated in a lot of the world. You can get GPS on the 1st gen, so really 3g is the only change. the only thing that sets it apart from better phones is that it costs 400 instead of 600-1000. and it is very user friendly. and itll get you pussy.
 
i read an article about it being only 200 bucks for the 8 gig. it didnt sell as much as they expected. price drops half but the phone plan iwth at&t went up 10 bucks. they are trying to get more phones out there.
 
Apparently you can't leave the shop without having the phone activated... which means it'll be harder for you to unlock yours.

It's coming to Canada! Woo! Not that I'll be buying one... I'd rather save $400 on another phone (or $200 for 8GB)

 
The 3G is much tougher to unlock and hasnt been done yet, so as of now, Id take a 2G iPhone 1000x quicker than a 3G, until they unlock it and sufficient app support is done~
 
I was commenting on how you think its the best phone on the market if its unlocked.. and if you want one unlocked and don't mind waiting a month or so after they come out, just meet somebody who doesnt live in the US, UK, Spain, France, or Germany, and have them buy one for you and then ship.
 
Nevermind I wont even start. It is obvious you dont even have a clue as to a jailbroken iPhone's capabilities or what jailbreaking even entails~
 
The reason its only at AT&T is the same as why only the Blackberry Bold will be at AT&T and I'm guessing the same for that new LG. It's because AT&T is the only cell phone carrier with a large 3G network and it's pointless to have those phones not on 3G.
 
even a jailbroke iphone has a shitty camera and is missing many features standard on other phones. and yes I do know the capabilities of jailbreaking, Get an N98 or any phone running android when it is released and not only will you have a phone better than an iphone, jailbroken or not, but you will also not look like every single girl from the valley, or half the population of the state university near you
 
ew get shitted on. i just did some research and it is old news if you've been waiting for it but verizon is FINALLY coming out with the "prada" phone that LG released in Europe. Full touch screen and all that, looks awesome!!! isnt a brick like the voyager, just looks super promising, and i read somthing about solar power where 3 hours of sunlight = 30 minutes of talking. that would be pretty useful if your stranded somewhere, but it might just be like a new add-on thing.
 
so, just to clear a few things up, the 3g is completely revamped in about every way. It's being released 22 countries, it's costing 199 with a 2 year contract, about as much as a blackberry, and whoever said you pay for internet is a dumbass. You pay on every phone, except the iphone connects to wifi if it's available, which is completely free; you can do it on the touch. The 3g going to have 3rd party apps, gaming capabilities, and so it's going to be one of the best deals out there. And if anyone is confused (i was), 3G doesn't mean 3Gb, it'll be 16 or 32gb, 3G is the model.
 
3G is the type of internet connection really. And while the iPhone itself is going to cost $200 less, over the course of 2 years you will be paying $200 to $400 MORE than to have a 1st generation iPhone because the contracts are getting much more expensive.
