new cd is great, morning view is excellent as well... don't know what those other guys are talkikng about.

 
Make Yourself was personally my favorite album from them, i like Morning View and A Crow Left of the Murder both about the same.

The only enemy agaist progression is FEAR!
 
The Fungus Amoung Us is the best CD by Incubis. I like all their stuff though. I have all of them. Moring View is so musically advanced it's unreal. For those who didn't like it, you were probablly expecting something to 'pump you up' a little more. If you haven't heard Fungus Amoung Us, give it a spin.

i like fungus, SCIENCE and make yourself but morning view did nothing for me. I like the new CD more than morning view but I don't think it compares to make yourself or any of the earliar material

I dont think any of their albums are compared to anything or any of their albums in general... they really rock out in this album and have that raw effect... they are a jam band man, and that is exactly what they do in the album... jam the fuck out...

Nothing beats old S.C.I.E.N.C.E of Incubus which is the only album that really rocked !

Their commercial and every album they release it becoming less popular. I hate to say this but incubus is no longer the band it was. They entered the world of showbiz and they want to make money

Their making the same thing has Limp Bizkit which has been the worst 2003-2004 band by Much Music.

^ that i agree with with S C I E N C E .... but how can you say this album is commerical? what is so commercial about it? Because they had one song on MTV? and that song is totally a jam song, and so is the rest of the album. Yes, 90 percent of the bands out there are never the same as they were in the first few albums, but when people change and get older over time, and more and more people find out about the band shit just changes man, they are getting older and with a new bass player ideas and styles are going to be a little different. This album is just plain sick, i dont care

good tunes for sure. Each album is soo diferent. you can't really compare them. I like them all for what they are.

goddammit, i hate when people say that. just because their music evolves and changes does not mean they are 'selling out' or any of that shit. incubus has evolved into their own distinct style and has kept rocking, holding on to a non-mainstream style while entering the mainstream. i get real sick of people talking about the old stuff just so they sound like musical geniouses.

oh by the way, i absolutely love the new one, just as much as morningview, science, make yourself, and all the rest.

 
I don't understand how you can say they are getting more commercial, I'd say this is less commercial than the last CD. Megalomanic takes a shot at Bush...bands trying to be commercial don't sing about politics

Stop comparing it to Morning View you assholes! I actually think each single CD was equal in excellence, each one was just different, their musical progression is obvious.

They were the same 5 years ago as they are now, so all credit to them for making it big. No-one has claimed they are punk or whatever, and they DID NOT 'sell out'. I'm not a fan, but I can see the music for what it is and see that they're having fun doing it, so leave them to it. If you don't like them, don't listen to them, end of story.
