New Idea!

Someone has probably come up with this, and there are a few flaws, but this could be the future in skis. What it there was an oppisite spaceframe, on the base. This would let you lside rails, without touching your edges, and you could still carve if you tried. It would be about a centimeter from the edge, and not very tall, and it wouldn't act as a regular spaceframe. Any thought?

Well this is different, but line used to make skiboards called Weapons. It was as close to an agressive inline skate as you could get. It had a reinforced grove right under the binding so that you could slide rails without damaging your edges. The problem was it was only good for rails and jumps. It carved like 2 pieces of wood under your feet. Not to mention it was a skiboard. (Who came up with that name anyway?)

i wouldnt buy it...

Titanya: But Duff Man, you said if I slept with you I wouldn't have to touch the drink!

Duff Man: Duff Man... says a lot of things! Oh, yeah!

the weapons had the grind plate... and also a few 1260s were made with it... the 01-02 12's (Blue ones)... if u look on the base theres a white spot righ underfoot that was sosposed to be a grind plate.. a few were made but never mass produced.. had problems....never held one though

it's seem like the base would get really messed up right in the middle where it was hitting the rail (kind of like with over-inflated tires). And it'd be extremely hard to carve at all. if park is all it would ski, then okay..but personally, I wouldn't buy it since I barely have enough money to buy one new pair of skis.

i cut a rectangle out of my bases and put a peice of steel in it's place and added an actuator under my boot in between my bindings.

the actuator is activited by voice command. do you remeber the water gun helmet, that when u yelled in the mic it would shoot water... well i took the parts off that and placed them in my ski.

Now i never wreck my ski's sliding rails because when i'm in the air, i yell 'GO Rail slider' and the metal rectangle pops out! and it's the only peice that touches the rail.... so my skis are never damaged. And they retract back into the ski once they don't hear the sound of sliding a rail anymore.!

Send me 200 bucks, ur sticks and helmet tand i'll install them in your skis!

I'm so fucking lost for what you all are talking about. I know some older rossi skis had a grind plate. The powairs or somthing

the pow air grind was a good idea back in the day. good ski with a reinforced grind area. i dont know why all park skis arent like that, it doesnt hurt the ski's performance much, plus its a park ski

ITS COMING!!!

yeah i dont know what happened with pow air grinds. it didnt seem like they were all that well received. i heard they were heavier, but i dont know by how much. Raps was rockin' them back in the day in the pipe and BC a bit too. the graphics were also way better compared to any other powairs.

I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day

I had a pair of the pow air grinds, and they sucked because the grind area was so fucking slick, they would always shoot out. They couldnt hold an edge because there wasnt an edge where you need it most. And if you were sliding a rail and part of your edge caught, then you were fucked because it would through you off the rail. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I later realized that they sucked.

I have a theory that all retards have one long tendon that goes from wrist to wrist, so therefore that is why they always are screwin around with one wrist up, and the other one down.
