All I can say is wow!

Since Nissan's prototypes have always been close to the "real thing" this car is definetly going to be nice:twin-turbocharged, 3.7-liter V6 that produces about 450 horsepower and drives all four wheels through a seven-speed sequential gearbox.

its been out in thwe air for a while now, its based on the I35 body if im not mistaken. The new 2007 supre looks sick over 500hp
 
yeah it is not too bad, i love the back of it, the tail lights reflect its heritage, but i don't like the front. I don't think it reflects what a skyline schould be.

I think the carbon fibre is ugly as hell, and someting reflecting Nissan a bit more.
 
That thing is sweet, except I think it would look a lot better if the front was the same color as the whole car instead of being black.
 
i dont know cars so.. why dont those prototype cars that look very cool and futuristic dont hit the production floor? im not talking about the 400,000 dollar ones, the Honda's and others that are good cars..
 
7 speed sequential gearbox?

Is that still an H pattern gearbox, or does that mean it's a straight pull from one to the next like a WRC car?

I don't really like the front end, but the rest of it looks awesome. But looks would undoubtedly become irrelevant if you were driving that car!
 
I saw some pictures of a GT-R prototype that had the same body as the G35 and I thought that was a really good looking car. It's kind of disappointing that they decided to go with the funny looking headlights on the new prototype.
 
Wow, something truely interesting comes out of non-ski gabber...finally. I was hoping they wouldn't butcher the skylines image too much...even though they are not designating it as a skyline in America as of yet (although they did in Japan).
 
well, they took the S13 and pussified it with the KA24E, and then made it a wee bit better with the DE, but still, we did get denied the SR20DE-T, and that is quite a shame. oh well.. i guess we'll have to keep importing JDM motors.

but.. as far as the new GT-R goes.. the car will never be the same, regardless of the exterior because they are not going to put in the straight 6 RB motor. that right there is a slap in the face to true enthusiasts.

right now in japan, the USDM Infinity G35 wears the Nissan Skyline badges. the 'Signal' team swapped in an S15 SR20 and is now driffting the car. kind of a dessecration if you ask me, but hey, whatever works.
 
what the fuck there not puttin the RB motor in it what are they thinking that motor is a legend...but i dont like the front end of it either...oh well i hope that supra looks better anyone got any pics of that???
 
yeah the k24 was definatly not up to par with sr20 but a good motor non the less, the s13 is an awesonme platform to build a SERIOUS car.
