Idk if you have seen the new USC edit, but it had some super slow-mo's. They always film with gopros so is this a new model? the shadow of the camera also looked different than that of the current one

no thats not a new model, he is using a plugin called Twixtor (I assume) to interpolate the frames on the super slow part

and the "different shadows" is just some color correction done by Abe, nothing new here....

oooo you never know!

hah shadow is just because i had 2 cameras sidebyside for 3D so it looks bigger
and yes, twixtor is the answer, as much as I wish to have 1000fps gopro
