I just read an article that said xbox will be most expensive , running at 400 or more US and the prices will be uped 30-40 for the holiday becuase they will be the only system out. The playstation will be between 300-400 and nintendo will be 150-200.

yep. i thought it was for game cube, but i dont think so now...xbox is cool, but the video game market pisses me off how everything gets outdated so quickly. xbox is a good enough system for anybody.

its the quality of the games now that all the graphics are very reasonable and good

Xbox 360 is better for the Online Part and the multemedia ! Maybe the graphics wont be as good as the ps3 , but everything else will dominate

haha for a second there I was like "oh no, nintendo is going to go broke with that Nintendo On thing" but now I know that they have a newer, more mature system out, they might not be soo doomed. yeah it does, its internet ready out of the box. The main reason i dont like the 360(besides the fact that the ps3 blows it out of the water graphics wise) is that its basically just a computer, and i already have one of those. They said it'll have like a homepage and from there u can surf the web, store and listen to ur music, download updates and new games, talk to ur friends with audio and video, and o yeah i think it plays games too. It all sounds good but i can do all that already so its not really next generation.

X box 360 seems like a cheap way to surf the web AND play games with good graphics, a lot cheaper then buying a $200 graphics card and sticking ram sticks onto the side of your moniter.

 
guys power is not the main determining factor in what makes the success of a console. price is one of the biggest factors, then games

if price wasnt a factor consoles would not sell very well. only PCs would be used to play games since they have always been the more pwerful machine (and by the time these new consoles come out they will be back on top.

and if it comes down to gameplay/games which it will then dont count the revolution out the revolution. there is so much secrecy around this that its impossible to tell what it will be like. that thing about it being 2-3 times as powerful was a joke. their videocard (Hollywood) and CPU (Broadway) is kept so secret yet is promissed to pack a punch.

and the controller still nowhere in sight yet so many things that can be interpreted as clues. maybe the unveiling of the console is itself a puzzle I will post something on this
