New from Pittsburgh area

Like title says, from the burgh area. signed up b/c some dude told me about it on xbox live while playing Shawn White Snowboarding. seems like a nice community. used to ski all the time. since i was about 8 till high school. my sr yr in high school i jacked my knees up bad, and kinda just stopped skiing. and 2 years ago i went skiing twice and fell in love wtih it again. and didnt get a chance to go last year. finally this year, i busted out my salomon 1080 spaceframes and went skiing. man did i miss it. finally getting back into it. just shakin off some of the rust now haha. anyways done rambling like an idiot, hello and anybody else from the Pittsburgh area?

 
Thats sick man its always good to get back at it, especially in your case cause youve had some time off. Im from upper PA, up near the lake actually; but I will be down at Seven Springs a couple times this year.
 
awesome! ill be at 7 springs a lot this year, going to try to be at least. last weekend Hidden Valley had free skiing and same with this weekend. hit it up last weekend and hope to be there all weekend again. let me know when u go to 7. also plan on making a trip to the Poconos too
 
nice, welcome to ns! i ski the springs a couple times a year. im goin out around christmas and in mid january
 
I'm from Conneaut Lake. I'm sure you've heard of it and probably been here if you're from Pittsburgh.
 
From north hills. bet u guys know that if from the burgh. its right out side of it I try to get to the springs every weekend. hopefully i can go after school sometimes for a night session.
 
im in latrobe about 30 mins away from the springs and usually get 45+ days in

welcome to newschoolers.. im not from Pittsburgh but i go to WVU so il be at seven springs as much as i can this year..
 
my brother used to work in the north hills, its not to far from me at all, im acutally in the Harmarville area. i hope to make it up to the springs almost every weekend, or every other.
 
wow thats pretty badass! its been awhile since i was there before last weekend. and man they have been doing alot of work to that place! turning out really nice!
 
Yo! Welcome to NS. I live in South Side in the city and like everyone else hits up springs as much as possible. Be sure to check out the rail jam this Saturday at the South Side Works!
 
ahh id like to see that, but i think im hitting up hidden valley for its free ski session. when is the rail jam?
 
i live a hour hour away form pittsburgh. i ride springs every weekend. I advise you not to go to hidden valley stopped up last weekend and it was retardly crowed not worth it.
 
what day did u go? i went last sunday, wasnt to bad, at least i dont think soo. it was my first time out in awhile tho haha
 
North Hills? used to date a girl from there. hahahaha. i went to Slippery Rock (graduated) but head up to springs a few times, my friend has a condo there so i try and make it out, hit me up if you want to ride with us when we roll out, send me a PM or something
 
Springs is ill... its awesome that everyone is riding at springs... i live at springs pretty much if im not working in the park im riding it haah... tho i board im taking up skiing this year haha
 
Seven Springs is a great resort ski resort to go to. I normaly go out there about 6 or more times a year I aleady went out there 3 times. Pm me if you want to meet up out there.
 
word! glad to see ppl from da burg coming to springs! gotta love it here.. setting up a sick new park very sooon was going to open sat but the rain is slowly killing our plans... but im from springs and come to treesdale to see the girl.. whats there to do? haha lil reverse here but looking for ideaas
