New freeskier top rated parks

WORD, loon was nasty this year. so many jibs and stuff placed all over the mountain as well.

also, i don't really get what's so great about copper...someone fill me in?

boreal and bear are on the list simply because they are dope park resorts. you can hit a rail on nearly every run there. but when it snows, you surely do not ski big bear.

however, mammoth and squaw, for example, have epic parks that pack the heat. but when it snows, you strap on the rockers and go try to shralp some lines, cuz they got those packing the heat too. so, its nice that they dont also list them in the park lists, cause they have the full resort package.

Go ride the American Flyer and find out. You get off the chair and there is a pocket park with two rails and a box. You then cruise into a 10 foot jump, 15 and a 25. Do some switch riding down into Catalyst and have your choice of Small, Medium or Large lanes. There is a quarterpipe at the end of the jump section then you have the option of hitting a superpipe in the same run. It all brings you back to the same chair you rode up on, the American Flyer.

Hit the singles line, repeat. Almost 2,000 veritcal feet of terrain features.

Enough said.

last 3 jumps were probably 45-55 initially, then they upped the last one to a solid 75' lip to knuckle...looked somethin like this:

it doesn't matter what jumps they have when the run's too flat to get speed and the park crew is understaffed.

yo whats with everyone complaining about snoqualmie havin to many rails set up street style? Thats the best way to have em if you ask me and there were still several rails that you could line up straigh on to to get on... the up rail at the bottom, the goal post rail, the up/flat/down, the roller coaster box, nessy, few flat boxes, dance floor, the nike seagle, and a few others, then you have all the street style rails on top of that, whats to complain about? Plus in mid march, the big jump was 58 feet which isn't to bad and it got bigger in the spring but I'm not sure how much cu I never saw it measured then.

if bachelor did something like mammoth and stayed open through the end of may, they'd get more publicity. they usually close with a ton of snow, why not use it?

Yeah I noticed that. Are they both similar enough to do that? I have never tried that, but it looks like it would be pretty weird to do! Ill post a pic later.

Because its gay ass powder corp! Bachelor, Parkcity, and boreal are all pow corp resorts, and all close in early to mid April, no matter what. Its lame.

I'll bet money that they close in april b/c that's when the forest service lease they have says they have to close, not because they're owned by some company

holy crap that is sick. I don't know how they'll own up to that this year. That looked incredible. So many options

uhhh.... i ski there 3-5 times a week and their rails suck dick, especially the downbars because they have shitty take offs and u land in the middle of the rail because its so steep and you barely slide the rail because theyre all super short, so uhhhhhh...you could ask for a lot more

This is exactly what http://www.mysnowparks.com is made for! If everyone goes there to update their park and rate all the parks they ride in we will soon have a true user-based top list of parks from all around the world.

A lot of new features are being finished on the site right now - so in a few weeks it will have park photo galleries, webcams, text updates (where you can write a review or just a note on whats going on in the park at the moment) and a lot of other neat features...

Copper is recognized because the early season pipe is perfect and they have a sweet park when everywhere else has a small rail park
